JJ Automotive is owned by Jeremy Halley, who has been “fixing things” his whole life. Jeremy was born and bred in Kenora, and a graduate of Beaver Brae High School. A lifetime of living in the area has made Jeremy very aware of how “rough” our roads can be on vehicles of all shapes and sizes. It’s important to him and his staff to help keep their customers on the road—whether that’s a fleet that has drivers and jobs sitting idle when their trucks are down, or a resident who just needs their vehicle to get them where they need to go.
Jeremy also worked at Moncrief Construction where he describes the unique challenges of “going to the far ends of the earth with a service truck you have to be able to fix anywhere.” He took these skills out west working on a shipyard doing heavy mechanical work, including engines and hydraulics. Returning to Kenora, he started JJ Repair, doing marine repairs on Lake of the Woods before opening JJ Automotive. In his free time, Jeremy, along with his partner Kim, are very busy with their young son Theo.
